What You Will Be Doing
- Design optical packaging solutions for photonic integrated circuits
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to ensure production ramp-up
- Conduct reliability testing following Telcordia standards
- Utilize CAD software for packaging design and documentation
- Select appropriate packaging materials and adhesives for high-reliability applications
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years in optical or photonic packaging design
- PIC optical edge coupling and active/passive alignment
- Packaging materials, adhesives, and high-reliability design
- Contract-manufacturer partnership and production ramp experience
- Telcordia-style reliability testing and packaging CAD
